Allika Alcé
IBCLC CD CBE
After struggling as a single teen mom with my first child I was adamant to get answers. This then led me to seek a better understanding of the human body, impartially human lactation, and natural birth, so I joined a few groups and began to volunteer as a peer counselor. This began the start of my lactation career. Working as a peer counselor for a local teen mom clinic in New York for several years I gained most of my passion for the work. My lactation career continued once relocating to Florida. I have worked as a lactation specialist for the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County for over 7 years before becoming an independent consultant.
My doula experience goes as far back as 1991 when my mom gave birth to my youngest sister at home in her bed, and I was there for every moment. My sister was birthed into my hands. Never did I know this would lead me to where I am today.
As a Doula and Lactation specialist, I work to ensure that every family receives the quality of care they need and deserve.
Each Family's needs are unique, and the care and information are tailored in that way.
I live in Central Florida with my loving husband, and 5 beautiful children. In my spare time, I enjoy bike riding, long walks, jogging, reading, and writing. The water is my happy place!
